Mindfulness, the pursuit of balance on the interweb

Woke up this morning, and before I’d even thought to rub the sleep out of my eyes I was on my iPad plugged in, my retinas being mesmerised, until I came to this Guardian piece about internet addiction.
Which is interesting in that the big Internet companies like Google etc believe it is their responsibility to help their customers find ‘balance’ in their Internet use. Clearly the Jason Russell Kony 2012 freak-out case is only the the tip of the iceberg.
And I was just wondering the other day whether I spend too much time between smartphone and iPad…
