Having Trouble Sleeping? Your Tablet or Smartphone Could Be to Blame

A post from Mashable which offers a possible answer to why I haven’t been sleeping well since I got on the iPad (and took to reading books on the reader). So if backlit displays suppress melatonin – and I suspect the Retina display is the biggest culprit here – what does that mean for the future of tablet media, which are grasping for ever great slices of our eyeball time? Perhaps the tech will need to incorporate some Kindle style real ink to take the pressure off the eyes? Interesting thought!
